Three-Year Stats

Evan had his Three Year Check-up recently and he weighed in at 33.8 lbs and was 37 & 3/4 inches tall. I've often been told that when a boy turns 3, you can double his current height and that will tell you how tall he will be. However, I'm not sure I believe that he's going to be over 6 feet 2 since there aren't a lot of tall men in our family on either side.

Everything checked out great at the appointment but we had to wait a bit for the doctor to show up and by the time she did, Evan was bored and completely tired of being on the examining table. When the doc started his exam, he immediately began to exhibit a bad case of the "Terrible Three's." She started asking him a bunch of questions, to which he responded by either blowing a raspberry or saying "You're a stinky diaper." I was mortified, of course. At least the doctor is also a mom of a teenaged boy and young twin girls, so she'd seen it/heard it all before. She assured me that this phase will pass!
