Chompers!

Evan is now getting FOUR new teeth on the top all at the same time. You can get a peek at the two middle ones in this picture along with his two bottom ones that he's had for awhile.

Fun in the Ball Pit

While ordering this little inflatable baby pool for Evan online, I discovered that you could also buy this pack of bright plastic balls to turn it into a ball pit. Here's Evan's first time in his new pit.

Hat from 'Grammy'

Evan's Grandmother Nancy (Tom's mom) knitted this beautiful little hat for him and sent it to him earlier in the week. He didn't exactly need it this weekend but hopefully we'll have a few more typical cool Spring days so he can show it off.

Soooo Hot!

We had a heat wave this weekend and it got up to 98 on both Saturday and Sunday! A bit much for April!! Evan decided he didn't have much use for the heat and ended up sleeping through most of it. He had three monstrous-sized naps a day, including a couple with his dad (who didn't have much use for the heat either.)

Tired & Cranky

Shoes!!

Evan got these adorable little sneakers for Christmas from his "Auntie Anna" and "Uncle Neil" (Thanks, guys!!) but this was the first time he ever wore them. He wasn't too sure about them at first, since they prevented him from practicing his favorite past time...taking off his socks and tossing them on the floor! But by the time he was riding in his stroller en route to the playground, he was kicking his feet happily and tapping them on the footrest.

Captive Audience

Here's Evan intently watching me blow bubbles with my gum. The really big ones made him break out into a smile and a giggle.

Sleeping Like A Baby

It never ceases to amaze me how Evan can be wide awake and playing one second, and sound asleep the next. He's fallen asleep before with one hand in mid-air, still holding a toy, and in this photo, he was suddenly zonked out with one leg slung up over the crib bumper and his foot sticking out between the rails. He must take after his Grandpa George (my dad) who has been known to doze off while still aiming his remote control at the TV!

We finally had some nice Spring weather over the weekend so I took Evan to the playground yesterday for his first ride in a bucket swing. He was a little unsure about it at first but by the time I was ready to leave, he didn't want to get out!
