Friday was Tom's birthday so his family came down yesterday for a pizza party. Evan had a blast playing with his five cousins and he went nuts over the pizza and his Aunt Becky's delicious homemade birthday cake!

I often have music on my computer playing in Evan's room and certain songs inspire him to immediately get up and start moving. Here he is dancing to his Dad's original song "Flicker" which was inspired by Evan a couple of months before he was born.

First Day of Spring

Spring made her grand entrance with an absolutely beautiful weekend, with lots of sunshine and temps in the 70's. Evan got to rediscover our neighborhood playground, which he hadn't been to since the Summer of last year. He was never that into it before but now he LOVES it. He likes the slides and playing with the mulch ground cover the best.

First Haircut

We finally took our shaggy-haired Rock Star for his first haircut today. He was very good and didn't get upset at all until the stylist turned the hair dryer on him. Then he started to wail so she quickly decided to just let it air dry instead.

Poor Little Fella

We had a beautiful Spring-Preview weekend (at last!) but we pretty much missed out on it because poor Evan woke up with a fever of 102 on Friday morning. I took him to the doc that day and they tested him for Strep Throat but he tested negative. The doctor said it was likely just a virus. He seemed to be feeling much better yesterday but last night, he got a rash all over his tummy, and today it's on his tummy and back. From everything I've read and been told, this is just a sign that the virus is exiting his body. Good riddance, we say!
