Napping with Pa-Pa

After our fun-filled day, Evan and his grandpa conked out in the recliner for a little snooze-fest.

Feast at Chick-Fil-A

Mmmm, chicken strips and a Peach Milkshake!

Fun At The Zoo

After Evan's birthday photo shoot, my parents and I took him to the zoo. It's a small, family-owned zoo so it's not your typical Elephants and Lions kind of place, but they do have a wagon safari ride that shows off a couple of camels and zebras. They also have some kangaroos, monkeys, big turtles, and parrots, along with a bunch of goats and sheep that you can feed and pet. The short video is Evan's reaction to seeing a real pony for the first time.

Photo Shoot

In keeping with the tradition I started for Evan's first birthday last year, I took him to Portrait Innovations for a birthday photo shoot to honor # 2 today. He did a great job! Here are a few of my favorites.

Sports Fan

Evan is so attached to his toy football and mini basketball that he refused to let go of them when I put him to bed last night. He fell asleep with his right hand wrapped around the football and his left hand tightly clutching the basketball.

Nine Hours Later...

Beach Ball Sprinkler

I bought this giant beach ball sprinkler contraption for Evan's birthday but it's been so hot this week that we decided to bust it out a few days early. He didn't push it all around the yard like I thought he would. Instead, he stood in one spot and stuck his hands in the water stream over and over, and every once in awhile he'd do a little water dance.
